One descriptive title per file
Written from what is visible in the image. Your title length range and sentence or title case shape the draft; your prefix, suffix and blocked-word rules are applied in the export.
Stocktag writes an Adobe Stock title, a keyword list with the strongest terms in the first 10 and one of Adobe's 21 category numbers for every file, then exports them as a CSV with the Filename, Title, Keywords and Category columns. Try one image free, no signup needed.
Eligible new accounts receive 10 free credits. Continue with monthly credit plans or non-expiring one-time credits.
Upload one image to preview an Adobe Stock title, 45-50 relevance-ordered keywords and the suggested Adobe category before you create an account.
Adobe Stock needs a title, keywords and a category for every file, plus a way to apply them in bulk. Stocktag drafts all three in one pass and writes them into an Adobe-ready CSV.
Written from what is visible in the image. Your title length range and sentence or title case shape the draft; your prefix, suffix and blocked-word rules are applied in the export.
The main title concepts, the primary subject or action and the most distinctive visible details lead the list. Pick a fixed count from 5 to 50, or Smart mode to size the list to the image.
Requested for every image and video clip and written as a number, such as 11 for Landscapes. You can switch it in the Adobe Stock category menu before export.
Turn on the Adobe Stock preset and every export ZIP includes an adobestock CSV with one quoted row per exported file, ready for Adobe's CSV upload.
The Adobe Stock preset writes four columns in a fixed order. Every value is wrapped in double quotes, so the commas between keywords stay inside one cell. The file is saved as adobestock_<date>_<time>.csv inside the export ZIP.

Adobe changes its portal labels and CSV upload limits from time to time. If a step looks different, follow the current Adobe Stock contributor help.
Set up the Adobe CSV in Metadata StudioStocktag asks for exactly one of these numbers for each image and video clip. The Adobe CSV stores the number, not the name.
Not sure about a suggestion? Open the file in Metadata Studio and pick another category from the same list before you export.
Stocktag drafts the Adobe fields and flags common gaps, but you decide what goes to Adobe review. These are the checks it runs and the ones that stay with you.
With the Adobe Stock export switched on, pre-export QA looks at every file before the CSV is written and lists anything that needs attention.
AI metadata is a draft. Compare the title and the first 10 keywords with the actual image before upload: Adobe's reviewers judge relevance, not Stocktag.
Prefer files that carry their own metadata? Stocktag can embed the title, description and keywords as XMP into JPEG, PNG, SVG and EPS files, and adds IPTC fields to JPEGs.
MP4 and MOV clips are read from frames sampled across the clip and get a title, keywords and an Adobe category like images. Clips are listed in the CSV; nothing is embedded in the video file.
The contributors and teams this workflow helps most.
You upload mostly to Adobe Stock and want the category and the CSV handled in the same pass as titles and keywords.
You would rather apply metadata to a whole upload with one CSV than edit files one by one in the Contributor portal.
The same files also go to Shutterstock, Getty Images or other marketplaces, so you switch on their CSV presets in the same export.
Quick details before you try the demo.
The demo is free: one image every 24 hours, no account needed. Eligible new accounts also get 10 free credits for Metadata Studio, where batch processing and the Adobe CSV export run. After that you continue with a monthly credit plan or one-time credits that do not expire.
Yes. Every image and video clip gets one of Adobe's 21 category numbers, which goes into the Category column of the CSV. You can change it before export, and pre-export QA flags any file left without one.
In Metadata Studio you set a fixed count from 5 to 50, or choose Smart mode to size the list to the image. The free demo returns 45 to 50. Adobe sets its own per-file maximum, so keep your count within Adobe's current limit.
Yes. Adobe gives extra weight to the first keywords, so Stocktag puts the main subject and title concepts in the first 10. The Adobe Stock keyword order tool covers how to review and reorder those first 10.
Filename, Title, Keywords and Category, in that order, one row per file. Descriptions are not part of the Adobe preset; Stocktag keeps them for other marketplace presets and embedded metadata.
Yes. Metadata Studio accepts JPG, PNG, SVG and EPS files plus MP4 and MOV clips. In vector mode the Filename column uses the .eps name, and video clips get a title, keywords and category from frames across the clip.
